Announcement of Four Major Texts on Oriental Medicine

Dear Colleague,

I’m writing acupuncturists all over to announce the availability of four texts on Oriental Medicine that I have been authoring since 1995. I am an MIT graduate in Earth and Planetary Sciences and have also been studying medicine all my life.  I studied Oriental medicine here in Miami, Florida and in Harbin, China and I have been in private practice since 1998 in Miami.

I am also an ordained Kagyu Tibetan Buddhist monk and I try to introduce my patients to Buddhist meditation techniques.  I find the results of using meditation with acupuncture and herbology very positive and I wanted to share that with you.

My clinic’s website is QuanYinMedicalCenter.com – where I have established a humble online store to distribute these texts to students and practitioners alike.

Let me summarize the four texts:

Oriental Herbology Clinical Notes:  The Live Herbs

This is a comprehensive exposition of the most useful Oriental herbs in the clinic – together with photography of their natural state in the field. . It also presents the details necessary for the use of the extensive Oriental pharmacopia in the clinic – in a very readable and concise format that allows for easy study and reference. A lot of patients have bought it simply because it’s a beautiful book.  It is library bound and contains 814 pages with 313 full-color photos.
